You’re a savvy, creative digital marketer with a proven track record of achieving growth for content-rich websites. You have the ability to dig into analytics, pinpoint the “why” behind traffic trends and capitalize on those opportunities. You have experience across social media platforms and both paid and unpaid efforts.

Does this sound like you? Great! We’re adding a Digital Marketing Manager to our in-house digital team, and you may be just the person we need.

 Focusing on our Livability.com and FarmFlavor.com products, you’ll spearhead traffic growth through search optimization and plan/execute marketing campaigns to reach and grow our target audiences. This position will work closely with the lead editors of each site, so digital content writing experience and a collaborative work style are a plus.

Responsibilities for each site:

  • Develop measurable traffic building strategies to achieve continuous growth within time-based or campaign intervals.

  • Collaborate with site editors to align those plans with each brand’s content strategy and execute solutions.

  • Design and execute paid social media marketing campaigns on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Pinterest.

  • Propose new content opportunities that will fuel growth using keyword trends and analytics.

  • Monitor and analyze site metrics to identify trends, major referring sites, and engagement patterns.

  • Optimize websites and social media channels for SEO.

  • Develop and execute a subscriber growth plan for site email newsletters.

  • Generate/automate monthly traffic reports for key stakeholders and create custom analytics reports on demand.

  • Assist with other promotional campaigns and press releases.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience with content marketing, including proven results with site traffic, engagement and audience development.

  • Expert knowledge of current SEO strategy, implementation and performance analysis.

  • Mastery of social media advertising platforms and analytics.

  • Expert knowledge of Google Analytics. Experience with Moz a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff.

  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and organizational skills.

  • Experience with website CMS.

  • Knowledge of Google Apps for Business (Gmail, Doc, Sheets, etc.)

  • Degree in marketing, public relations, journalism, communications or similar field.
