Survey Says: Agribusiness Publication Well-Received
In a Fall 2009 readership study, Illinois Farm Bureau Partners recipients ranked the publication "better in every category," as compared to a similar study from 2006.!--break-->
Our team worked with the Illinois Farm Bureau in 2008 to redesign the publication from a tabloid newspaper to a high-quality magazine format. Mailed quarterly to the Farm Bureau's associate, or "non-farmer," members, the magazine includes features on Illinois agriculture as it pertains to consumers, travel destination profiles, Illinois food products and recipes, gardening tips and more.
Insights from the study include:
• 78 percent of respondents recall receiving Partners in the past 12 months.
• 82 percent find Partners easy to read.
• 77 percent find the layout attractive, up 17 percent from 2006.
• Half of respondents pass their issues on to at least one other person.
• Partners prompts action. 53 percent of respondents have taken at least one action as a result of reading articles or columns in Partners.
