Lexington Visitor Planning Guide Races to First Place
The 2011 edition of the Lexington Visitor Planning Guide won first place in the Print Visitor Guide category at the 2011 Excellence in Marketing Awards Gala, held during the annual Kentucky Tourism Industry Association’s Annual Fall Meeting October 18. More than 400 industry professionals from around the state attended the event.
The 2011 guide features stories on the 75th Anniversary of Keeneland, Lexington’s iconic horse racetrack and the city’s food to table movement. The guide also features profiles of Camp Nelson and other Civil War landmarks and master bourbon distillers.
