It’s Football Time in Eugene!

Fans cheer on the ducks during the University of Oregon’s football game against the University of Utah on Saturday September 19, 2009 in Eugene, Oregon. I always look for colorful and unusual people while covering events. I noticed this student wearing a green head to toe spandex outfit and waited for the right moment.  Instead of focusing on the game action, I shot the green man celebrating a University of Oregon touchdown, making the big O with his hands. Many times my favorite sports photos come from places other than the field of play, such as the stands, the sidelines or the tailgaters outside of the stadium.
